Contact Me Appointments are conducted in the Chiropractic Studio at Les Quennevais Sports Centre. This is located on the first floor and lift access is available. I am currently available on Wednesday afternoons/early evenings and Saturday mornings. If you would like to know if herbal medicine is right for you, please feel free to contact me by telephone or email without obligation.
About Me I trained at the University of Central Lancashire as a full time student, and obtained an upper second class honours degree in Herbal Medicine in 2006. My training included 500 hours of supervised clinical practice. Subjects studied included anatomy and physiology, counselling skills, nutrition, clinical diagnosis and orthodox clinical examination, as well as botany, materia medica (detailed study of the plants and their medicinal qualities) and herbal therapeutics. Upon completion of my degree, I was accepted into the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (N.I.M.H.) and now carry the letters M.N.I.M.H. after my name. N.I.M.H. is the largest and foremost professional body of herbalists in the UK, established in 1864. For more information please visit the N.I.M.H. website: www.nimh.org.uk.  |
